You can significantly extend the lifetime of your garments by treating them right. Read the carelabel on the products before washing them, most products are destroyed by being washed wrong, with softeners, too hot or too often. Avoid the use of fabric softener. They have a negative impact on the garments performance and our environment. The fabric softener leaves a coating on the fibers of the garment, which affects the moisture transportation and breathability of the garment. Some of the substances in fabric softener are hard to break down for nature and harm water living organisms. They also contain perfumes and substances that can cause allergic reactions.

The horses don’t care if your socks are squeeky clean, they have the right values naturally. Cutting back on how frequently we use our washing machines is a huge win for our garments, our wallets (think of the electric bill) as well as for the environment.

• Don´t tumble dry functional clothes

• Don’t wash too often, sometimes airing out is enough

• Don’t use fabric softener

• ALWAYS close zippers, if open the can harm the garment
