LESS, BUT BETTER.

We've never been interested in doing more just for the sake of it.

Instead, we create small, thoughtful collections and focus on what truly matters: materials, fit, function, and design. Fewer products, made with care and intended to feel relevant long after the season is over.

For us, it's not about chasing every trend. It's about making things worth keeping, wearing, and using, again and again.

Made to last. Made to be lived in.

Life is better with horses in it.

Lope was created for life around horses – early mornings, long days, fresh air, and everything that happens somewhere between the stables and the rest of the world.

Things to carry, wear, and actually use. Thoughtfully designed. Functional. Made to last.

More of what makes life better.

SADDLE UP.

MADE BETTER, STEP BY STEP.

We have moved our sock production to Europe and are increasingly working with recycled materials where it is the right choice.

For us, it's about making better choices, step by step, improving how we produce, reducing unnecessary impact, and taking greater responsibility for what we put out into the world.

Not perfect. Just always trying to do better.

MAKING BETTER CHOICES

We are quite pragmatic when designing. If a factory already has a really good fabric or a color in stock, we prefer to use that rather than producing something new just for our sake. We choose materials made to last, use recycled fibers where it's the right choice, and produce in Europe when quality, product, and price make it possible.

Our garments are made by suppliers with environmental and ISO certifications, and we work with small collections and limited quantities to avoid unnecessary overproduction and minimize waste.

This same philosophy extends all the way to delivery. We choose the most responsible shipping option available for each shipment and climate compensate for the CO₂ emissions from our deliveries.

We don't claim to have solved everything. But we always try to make the better choice, in the product, production, and everything surrounding it.

A FEW THINGS WE THINK MATTER

  • Our riding socks have reinforced toes and heels – because things that last longer need to be replaced less often.
  • Champion Redux is made from a durable fabric with a coated interior that can easily be wiped clean instead of washed – or replaced.
  • Lope Polo Knit is made from 100% wool, a natural temperature-regulating material that rarely needs washing.
  • Our Cozy beanies and headbands are made from recycled plastic.
  • Conscious Ride are made from 100% recycled polyamide.
  • Our breeches are made from a sturdier material chosen to actually withstand use.

Not perfect. Just always trying to do better

A LITTLE CARE GOES A LONG WAY.

Simple care instructions to help your riding gear maintain its fit, function, and good looks for longer.

More wear. Less waste.

Smelly activewear? Polyester excels at what it's designed for: it absorbs very little water, dries quickly, and therefore works perfectly in activewear. The downside? The material also tends to retain natural skin oils—and with them, the substances that cause that less-than-pleasant odor.

Once the oils have settled into the fibers, a regular wash isn't always enough to completely remove them. The trick is to either thoroughly remove the buildup or, even better, prevent it from accumulating in the first place.

A little smarter washing can make a big difference, both to the smell and to how long your clothes stay in good shape.

HAND WASH

  1. Check the care label
Always start by reading the garment's washing and care instructions.
  2. Keep it lukewarm
Fill a clean sink, bucket, or bathtub with lukewarm water. Avoid hot water as heat can affect the properties and elasticity of technical fabrics.
  3. Use a gentle detergent
Use a mild liquid detergent for technical garments. Skip fabric softener and bleach – they can damage the fibers and affect the garment's function.
  4. Be gentle
Let the garment soak for a few minutes, then gently work with your hands where needed. Avoid harsh scrubbing, twisting, and wringing.
  5. Rinse well
Rinse thoroughly in clean water until all detergent is gone.
  6. Air dry
Hang the garment in a well-ventilated area. The faster it dries naturally, the better; damp technical clothing left lying around is a fairly sure path to unwanted odor. Avoid tumble dryers and strong direct sunlight unless the care label states otherwise.

A little care. A lot more wear.

WASH YOUR BREECHES INSIDE OUT

Here’s how:

1 Check the care label
Always start by reading the garment's washing and care instructions.

2 Turn them inside out
Turn the breeches inside out before putting them in the machine to protect the silicone grip and reduce unnecessary wear during washing.

3 Keep it gentle
Choose a gentle cycle with low spin and use a mild detergent. Your breeches work hard enough as it is.

4 Skip fabric softener and bleach
Skip fabric softener and bleach. Both can affect the material's stretch and function – and they're not exactly kind to the environment either.

5 Air dry
Hang the breeches in a well-ventilated area. Avoid tumble dryers and strong direct sunlight, as these can affect the material, fit, and elasticity over time.

Inside out. Gentle wash. Longer life.

A FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

  1. Watch out for Velcro and sharp objects
Be careful with Velcro and sharp objects as they can snag the fabric and cause pilling. Our riding breeches are made from durable filament fibers and should not pill with normal use or washing.
  2. Wash gently
Hand washing is always a good option. If machine washing, turn the garments inside out and preferably use a laundry bag. Always close zippers before washing – open zippers can snag, scratch, and damage other garments.
  3. Don’t wash just because you can
Only wash when necessary. Too much washing unnecessarily wears out the materials, so if the garment is neither visibly dirty nor starting to smell, it can easily get another day of wear.
  4. Don’t leave riding clothes in your bag
Take your riding clothes out of your bag as soon as you can after riding and hang them up to air. Both your clothes and your bag will thank you.
  5. Sweaty ride? Deal with it sooner rather than later
If you've sweated a lot during your ride, don't leave your functional top damp in your bag. If you can't wash it immediately, keep it separate from the rest of your belongings and rinse or soak it in cold water as soon as you can to reduce the risk of odors setting in.
  6. Your Champion Bag likes the easy option
A damp cloth or wet wipe is usually all that's needed to clean your Champion Bag.

Less washing. More airing. Longer life.
