Life today is often about accomplishing more, performing better, being more efficient, and always being connected.
Horses offer the opposite.
They demand our presence. They provide freedom, movement, fresh air, and a reason to sometimes forget the rest of the world.
For us, Lope is a way to make room for more of that. And to create things that fit into that life.
Things to carry, wear, and actually use. Well-designed, functional, and made to accompany you, in the stable, in everyday life, and everything in between.

HOW IT BEGAN
Lope started with a simple question: why was everyone walking around the stable with their expensive riding gear in a blue, crinkly plastic bag?
There had to be something better. Something sturdier. And, if we're honest, something prettier.
The answer was our Champion Redux, a spacious stable bag made for real stable life. Water- and dirt-repellent, durable, and big enough for almost everything you insist on bringing with you.
Today, it comes in several colors and has made its way far beyond the stable, to work, the gym, competitions, weekend trips, and everything in between.
Why Lope?
Lope is the Western riding equivalent of a canter. Calm, balanced, and ridden on a loose rein.
We started Lope as an antithesis to demands, stress, and fast fashion. For us, the name is a reminder of freedom, a slower pace, and the idea that life might be a little better if we don't rush through everything.
And somewhere there is still the dream of one day riding across the open plains of Montana.
THE FOUNDERS
Sarah Dejert and Karin Edström have experience from various creative fields: graphic design, fashion, and interior design, combined with a love for horses and riding.
For us, it has always been simple: horses, riding, and the people you meet around the stable make life better. Lope is our way of creating something unique from that feeling, from idea to reality, and always with a lot of heart behind it.
We are best friends, business partners, and constant co-conspirators. We run Lope with equal parts drive, curiosity, and a tendency to turn road trips, spontaneous ideas, and long conversations into new projects.
You know that "for women, by women" thing. But seriously… who else? 😉
