TEAM LOPE 2025
Team Lope is for those who live for the details – the early mornings in the stable, the late nights at training, every day, every week, year after year. It's for those who recognize that the little things aren't just details but the foundation of success. It's about determination, focus, and hard work
It's not just what you do, but how you do it. With a love for horses, design and a desire to always go one step further. Together we create something greater.
This isn't for everyone. But if you know, you know.

What motivates you?
I think I am a person who is spurred on
of challenges and obstacles along the way. Knowing that it's not a straight path to success is not a negative thing, but that's where you develop the most. Looking back at old videos and seeing how both me and the pony have improved is a fantastic feeling.

I have always been a rider with big dreams of competing in the big arenas, winning medals and big competitions, but something that has been stronger than the desire to compete has always been my love for my horses.

Tell us a little about your horses.
I have had several different horses and ponies during my journey to where I am now where everyone has had their time and been an important part of the big puzzle. My old B-pony Magic has taken me incredibly far in equestrianism as she showed me how to have fun and fight as a team on the track, something that I later took to my other ponies. Captain , my C-pony means an incredible amount to me as he is such a special individual. He has definitely taken me the furthest when it comes to the riding itself and taught me that it is worth putting all your waking hours, blood sweat and tears into the sport. Then we have Gorm , the incredible Gorm who is the kindest pony in the world at the same time as he has such incredible hope in him and the will to fight with his rider. He is 9 years old and just getting better and better.
Something I will carry with me my whole life is knowing that no matter how nervous or stressful it is, you can find your way back to the track. If you have a strong enough bond with your horse, then anything is possible. I think building a bond with your horse is one of the most important things you can do and is just as important for success as riding training. Brushing, cuddling, playing and spending a lot of time together. It's a magical feeling to have such communication that it feels like the horse can read your thoughts.
How do you handle pressure and nervousness in crucial moments?
Challenges arise all the time. A small thing like a forgotten bib tag can cause it, or keeping your nerves in check during the short break between the preliminary round and the jump-off. At the Swedish Indoor Championships last fall, we crashed in the final, and I was disappointed – but it wasn't over. I gathered myself, learned the jump-off course despite shaking legs and nervousness, and went in with Gorm to ride for the gold. We rode on instinct, found our composure and won. An absolutely fantastic feeling!

how it started
My mother's family has had horses for generations, so I was on horseback long before I could ride a bike. When I was three I was a fellow rider on a shetty twice a week. After competing in a few pay and jump events with our Irish horses, I got my first show pony when I was eight.

The biggest challenge has been working my way up on my own and riding many different horses. It might have been easier if I had a ready-made star horse, but at the same time it has taught me a lot and allowed me to ride without a lot of pressure. It has given me the confidence to develop and shape myself into the rider I am today.
Tell us about your horses and their strengths.
Right now I'm working mostly with Milano, an eight-year-old gelding who came to me at the end of November. He's a truly fantastic horse! I also have Falabama, who I've had for almost a year. We know each other inside out. Our strength as a team is that we're fast – we won almost 60% of our starts in 2024. The most important thing is interaction and communication. Understanding how your horse works is crucial to being able to provide the best conditions, both in training and in competition.

A routine I always follow is to walk onto the track, walk through the track calmly, and breathe before I shorten the reins and trot. This helps me stay calm and avoid stressing the horse. For example, Falabama can get anxious at the exit, so I always make sure to pass there calmly before we start.

What are you most proud of?
- To represent Sweden on a pony as a 14-year-old with a self-trained pony.
- To be one of two clear riders in the Swedish Championship final with the D-pony Gorm, who I rode and trained myself.
- My successes at Falsterbo with my first big horse, where I won both qualifiers and came second in the final.
- My debut in the 135 class on a big horse, where I advanced to the ATG series and won my heat among top names.
The Flow Breeches
I love these breeches. Besides the fact that I think they are very stylish, they stay in place without slipping down - I hate breeches that bag - it bothers me to wear uncomfortable clothes when I ride. I need to feel balanced and be able to focus on the task at hand
